Jennifer Drake has a broad spectrum of teaching experience,
ranging from public school orchestra, to private lessons, to summer
music programs. Past years have found Jen teaching for Boise
Public Schools, the Boise State University Chamber Music Camp and
the Twin Falls Music Festival, as well as over 40 private viola
students.
Jen's students enjoy a high rate of success in their chosen musical
endeavors. Students regularly are invited to participate in auditioned
ensembles, such as the Idaho All-State Orchestra, All Northwest
Orchestra, Boise Schools Chamber Orchestras, the Elementary and
Junior High School Honor Orchestras, and the Treasure Valley Youth
Symphony. They have also earned honors in state competitions and
regional viola events. Many of Jen's students have continued their
musical studies in college, earning scholarships and prominent
positions in their orchestras.
Students are encouraged to use their skills in a variety of venues.
Whether it be playing a solo for Solo and Ensemble Festival, getting
together with friends on a Saturday afternoon for a jam session, or
playing a special music selection for church, students learn to share
their talents with others.
Most importantly, Jen takes the time to develop a personal
relationship with each of her students, creating a caring
environment for students to reach their full potential.

cancel: otherwise, payment is expected.
Every effort will be made to reschedule.

each month, so I don't have to sell plasma to
pay my phone bill.
